The story

We met Jay Witcher at the first Boston Early Music Festival & Exhibition in 1983. We loved the sound and look of his harps, and we ended up with a tape of Patrick Ball playing a wire-strung harp by Jay.

We ordered a harp, the “Patrick Ball” model, which arrived sometime in 1985 at the harpsichord shop in Connecticut, where I was working.
